Adelphia Cable If getting IP of 10.xxx.xxx.xxx, make sure that mac address of correct ethernet card is cloned to router. Most areas of Adelphia set up like RoadRunner, no clone required, just power-cycle all in proper order.

AOL Cable Clone Mac address and reboot to get a 24.xxx.xxx.xxx IP and connect. (AOL requires parental controls in some areas, then certain routers with parental controls for AOL in the firmware must be used. These are BEFW11S4, BEFW11S4 v2/v3/v3.2, BEFSR41, BEFSR41 v2, BEFSR11, BEFSRU31, BEFSR81, &  BEFSR81 v2)

Bellsouth Non-PPPoE Standard (set to obtain IP automatic) You may need to disable Block WAN Request and change LAN of router to 192.168.2.1, clone mac address and power cycle. (With WesTell A90 modems (Models 2400 and 2410), make sure modem is not in bridged mode)
Bellsouth DSL / PPPoE Username@bellsouth.net (firmware 1.36 or higher)   Username (if firmware 1.35) some areas require bellsouth.net also in Domain Name. Earthlink / Sprint DSL / PPPoE Modem has DHCP and PPPoE built in, but it is not a router. You must disable Block WAN Request and change LAN of router to 192.168.2.1, clone mac adress and power cycle.
Empower DSL / NO PPPoE checked the WAN info, if both the DNS #s are 192.168.1.x, change LAN IP of router to 192.168.2.1. Should be up & running

Road Runner Cable Standard (set to obtain IP automatic) (Power down cable modem for at least 1 min.) Some RR/TW that were MediaOne, need Mac cloned  and disable block wan too, to get IP from the ISP. Some customers of Roadrunner are now receiving an ORION 3000 Wireless LAN Cable Router. This unit needs to be in BRIDGED mode instead of NAT in order for any of the Linksys Routers to connect to the internet. Customer must have ISP do the change in modes.
Road Runner Cable w/Ericson Modem While computer is hooked directly to modem, write down IP, Gateway, and DNS info. Manually Code in IP/Gateway/DNS on Router (On Ericson Modem)
RCN Cable Dynamic IP, clone MAC, disable Block WAN Request, then power-cycle all in order

Sprint wireless (broadband) Reset Modem, Router, and power down pc, wait 1 minute and fire up in the same order ( power-cycle ). Hybrid modem needs x-over cable going to router
